A simple process from first enquiry to assessment, therapy, home strategies and review.
Clear guidance from first enquiry to funding, service agreements and the right therapy pathway for your needs.
If you are new to speech pathology, we can explain what type of assessment or therapy may be appropriate, what information to bring, and which pathway may suit your situation. Medicare rebates may be available with an eligible GP referral or care plan, and we can help you understand what to ask your GP. We can also discuss private billing, NDIS pathways, reports and documentation that may support funding or access requests.
Book Online →RAH welcomes plan-managed and self-managed NDIS participants. Our clinicians provide needs-based recommendations aligned with the participant’s goals, functional communication needs and relevant NDIS guidance. We focus on appropriate care, transparent fees and clinically justified therapy — not over-servicing or using funding simply because it is available. Service agreements, invoices and recommendations are explained clearly so participants and families understand what is being provided and why.
Discuss NDIS Services →Speech pathologists can support employment goals by working on interview preparation, workplace conversation, understanding instructions, asking for clarification, phone and email communication, customer service scripts, social problem solving, self-advocacy, communication confidence, workplace vocabulary and strategies for communication breakdowns. Therapy can also support participants preparing for volunteer roles, study, work experience or supported employment.
Book Employment Support →Aged-care speech pathology may include swallowing assessment, mealtime management plans, safe eating and drinking strategies, texture and fluid recommendations, carer education and liaison with families, support workers and health professionals. Therapy can also support communication changes related to ageing, stroke, dementia, Parkinson’s disease, neurological conditions or reduced confidence in conversation.
